Hey guys, in today’s post I’m showing you my favorite fall trends in 2016. By the way, happy fall todays officially the first day of the season! A lot of the fashion below will be in an upcoming YouTube video so stay tuned for that, if you’re looking you’ll know which one it is. 😉
This week’s posting/uploading schedule was a little off! Last night I uploaded my YouTube video and today I’m posting on my blog as apposed to Sunday. You can expect to find a new post and video on my channel on Sunday though. I just had a couple of technical difficulties this week so thanks for bearing with me.So without further or due lets look at my favorite fall trends in 2016!
1. Deep Plum Lipstick
Deep “vampy” plum lipsticks have been showing up all over the runways this season and I for one am a fan! My favorite lipstick right now is my Sonia Kashuk Lip Color in the shade “Sheer Berry.” You can find it at Target and this brand is cruelty-free. (Which is always awesome 🙂 )
2. Velvet & Faux Leather Fabrics
The fabrics of the season will most definitely be suede, velvet and leather. Of course my leather and suede fabrics will be faux, and I encourage you to wear the same. 🙂 My favorite pieces are my velvet bodysuit (bonus, bodysuits are also a trend this season, so I’m wearing two trends in one! :D)and my faux leather pencil skirt. Hint hint you might see these two articles of clothing in a YouTube video of mine coming up.. 😉
3. Open Toe Booties
While these shoes may not be the most practical, they’re also some of the cutest ones I own.. 🙂 I love these shoes for a ton of reasons not limited to the fact that they’re trending this fall! They really give me a seventies vibe and they have an adorable platform heel, which is another trend coming back! They’re perfect for late summer early fall weather and early spring!
4. Slip Dress Over T-Shirts
This season we’re taking notes from nineties fashion with the slip and t-shirt combo. I can’t get enough of this look, it’s the perfect way to look feminine but casual at the same time. It’s the “I’m trying look coupled with I just rolled out of bed” look. (If that makes any sense :D) You could totally switch out the t-shirt for a long sleeve mock neck top too! It’s all about layering dresses this season.
