Who’s loving all the retro posts lately? I know I am! I’ve been on a journey this year to truly narrow in on my true style and I think I’m getting close! If you’re loving all the retro fashion, make sure you checkout my “All Those Seventies Feels Captured in One Look” post! A month or so back, I found this adorable retro dress from Buffalo Exchange. I knew as soon as I saw it I had to have it, and better yet, post about it! 🙂 So here I am today sharing with you a fun retro look for an equally retro laundromat. Because what says retro better than an old school laundromat? I scouted out this cute little place while driving through Greensburg and knew instantly I had to shoot there sometime. I can’t wait to see what you guys think, leave your opinions in the comments below. 🙂 Lets talk about the look and take a look at the photos now!
A Fun Retro Look for an Equally Retro Laundromat
About the Look:
First off, I knew my shag bangs (inspired by a popular cut of the 70’s) would look adorable with the overall vibe. To take it to the next level, as I said earlier, I’m wearing my vintage dress from Buffalo Exchange. Side note, if you ever want to attempt vintage/thrift shopping, this is the store to visit! Depending on which location you visit, some of them have designated vintage sections you can sift through. The clothes there are also very affordable, which is always top priority for a girl on a budget like me! I got this dress in today’s post for $12! Can you believe that? I’ll be wearing this dress for many years to come, what a steal. 😉
The second component of this look, are the darling shoes I have on! The story about these, is that I found them on accident! I was shopping with my mom the other day to help her find a bathing suit and found them by happy coincidence. Where might you be asking I found these beauties at? The clearance section at Target. Lol I know, you’d never expect that right? At this point I’ve become a huge fan of Target clothes and shoes, so I wasn’t too surprised. These platform sandals were only $10 and I think they add the most beautiful retro touch to this outfit. So yes, you’re hearing me correctly, this look cost a whopping $22. Now that’s what I call affordable!! 🙂 Overall I’m loving this look and can’t wait to share it with you all in the photos below, so lets check them out!
