Who else is excited for the first day of fall? I know I sure am! I’ve found myself experimenting a lot this season with ways to wear my favorite summer clothes a little later into the season. Who says rompers and shorts are just for fall? In today’s quick read I’m sharing a quick layering trick to wear shorts in early fall. Because until the first day of fall is here, (September 22nd) the weather isn’t too cold and it’s kind of bipolar. I like to think this trick is great for transitioning weather fashion. 🙂

A Quick Layering Trick to
Wear Shorts in Early Fall
So how exactly do I layer my shorts so I can wear them in early fall? Tights! That’s it, just a cute pair of black tights and ankle booties. When it’s not that cold out, you really only need thin layers to cover the skin. That’s why tights are the perfect option when you still want to wear shorts! If it’s a little chillier just pair with a long cardigan and boots. Works like a charm! 🙂 In doing so, I’m happy to say I’m still wearing shorts in September. 😉
