First Decor Idea: Earthy Green Ornaments

This DIY can cost as little as $5, depending on what supplies you already have. The first thing I did was buy a package of clear, plastic ornaments at a craft store for $4. For an even more affordable deal, try checking your local dollar store! After that, I cut pieces from a pine tree in my yard, making this piece of supplies free! (Yay!) To add variety, I cut pieces from my eucalyptus plant once it died. Since the plant was dried out, it made fitting it into the ornament easy. Once you’ve gathered your supplies, all you have to do is fill the ornaments how you like!

What you need:

– clear ornaments (can be found at the dollar or craft store)

– pieces from a pine tree

– any other greenery you’d like, such as eucalyptus

Second Decor Idea: A Place to Hang Ornaments

Looking for a cute place to hang your newly made ornaments? Once you’ve decorated your tree with a couple of them, you’ll want to make this cute wall hanging for the rest of them! This craft is very easy and starts back in the yard again! Take to the woods and search for a stick with a couple branches on it. You’re going to need these later to hang your ornaments. Next, buy a can of spray paint! I picked a small $5 can in copper metal. Once you finish spray painting, rest the stick on two nails spaced on either side. Then, you can go ahead and hang up a couple ornaments! Done!

What You Need:

– stick with several branches

– spray paint

– ornaments

Third Decor Idea: An Alternate Use for a Terrarium

Guys, how cute are terrariums? What’s even cooler, is that they can totally be filled with more than just succulents. For a festive fun new way to decorate your terrarium, fill it with ornaments! I bought a pack of these mini ones from the Dollar Store. To add more dimension and variety to this diy, try adding a couple bigger ornaments as well! This terrarium was purchased a couple years back, on sale from Joanns. How cute is it altogether?

What You Need:

– a terrarium

– package of mini & medium ornaments

Fourth Decor Idea: Give Your Mason Jar a Festive New Use

I guarantee most of you won’t have to buy anything for this diy, making it one of my favorites! Simply find a mason jar or any jar for that matter, lying around. Take the extra pine tree pieces you used with the other diy and gather some small twigs in your backyard. Paint your twigs a metallic color, such as copper! Then, fill the jar with your newly painted twigs and pine tree pieces. Now you have a super easy and effortless decoration. So easy anyone could put it together in minutes!

  What You Need:

– jar

– small twigs

– spray paint

– pine tree pieces
