For a while now, I’ve been inspired by 60’s and 70’s fashion. It’s something I aim to echo through the outfits I put together. Sometimes I miss the mark, but other days.. I hit the nail on the head. In today’s post I’m feeling pretty proud because I think I’ve got all the seventies feels captured in one look. Does anyone else have a decade they love to emulate through their style? Share with me below, I’d love to hear about it! 🙂 As for me, I’m channeling 70’s vibes with a shag haircut, round sunglasses and flatform sandals. If age weren’t a factor, I think it’d be hard to tell if I weren’t a fashion maven of the 70’s. 🙂
All the Seventies Feels Captured in One Look
When attempting to create a look that reflects 70’s fashion, it’s important to wear a boho print blouse. I’m wearing a blue print one from Hollister. A good boho blouse really sets the stage for any 70’s inspired look. In this outfit I tucked it into a tan, button down corduroy skirt from Free People. In my hair I have a pair of round sunglasses. (hitting another 70’s trend here) To top off the look, I’m wearing a pair of flatform sandals! These shoes are pretty much my latest shoe obsession. I found them from American Eagle on sale and I’m so excited to say I have them linked below! They’d totally make an amazing addition to any girls wardrobe. My favorite part about this pair is that they come in a mustard shade. This color has been a color on my radar as of late!
