Three Outfit Ideas for Friendsgiving
and Tablescape Inspiration
Outfit One: Feminine, flirty & tulle!
This first look is equal parts festive and feminine! Maranda, from Absolutely Darling, tucked into a tulle skirt, this pretty mustard yellow sweater. I think the color blends seamlessly with the classic Thanksgiving color palette! Her cute outfit is finished off with black heels and several, layered rings. I also just love her plaid watch, it’s perfect for a feminine Friendsgiving outfit. This look is great for girls who like to dress up a little for Friendsgiving! Does she not look like Lauren Conrad guys? Seriously so cute! 🙂
Outfit Two: Cool girl fashion for Friendsgiving..
Where my faux fur loving girls at? If you love faux fur jackets, then try this easy outfit formula Dannie, from Unconditionally Creative, put together! Pick out your most favorite bodysuit, throw on your comfiest high waist jeans and finish off with a faux fur jacket! I think the jacket definitely dresses the look up, whilst the jeans keep it comfy! I think this look is so effortless, giving off major cool girl vibes. Try topping off this look with a pair of peep toe or ankle booties!
Outfit Three: Steal the show with embroidered details!
Looking for that outfit halfway between dressy and comfy? Then my look is just right for you! Try pairing an embroidered skirt with your coziest cardigan and tuck in a spaghetti strap top. The embroidered skirt gives your outfit interest and makes it festive! While wearing a roomy cardigan over top will keep you warm and dress down the outfit. That’s why I’m totally in love with this look for Friendsgiving! Basically, this look is for the girls who want to fake dressing up and still be comfy. 😀
Now that we’ve gone through a little outfit inspiration, it’s time to get inspired with decor! Check out the pretty tablescape we put together below. 🙂
The centerpiece consists of a wood stump you can find at craft stores, two scented candles and a turkey decoration, all found at Target. The floral arrangement was made with fake flowers, arranged and put in a small white pumpkin. To tie the colors together we bought gold chargers from the dollar store and added small paper plates on top, purchased at Target. The paper napkins and silverware are from Target as well. (sooo, are you noticing a theme yet? lol) On top of the chargers and tiny plates, we put little, fake pumpkins you can also find at the craft store!
We decided to keep a pretty simplistic menu featuring stuffing balls, turkey sliders, corn, mashed potatoes and mini pumpkin pie slices! I love this menu because everything is super easy to put together and easy to eat. After all, Freindsgiving shouldn’t be stressful, it’s about spending time with your best friends! No need to stress about the menu.
