Hello everyone, I’m so excited to share with you that in two weeks I’ll be off to a cute little city called Lancaster! Located just 4 hours from Pittsburgh, Stefan and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get away and visit somewhere new! What’s really cool about Lancaster, is the food and art scene. Not to mention the large variety of coffee shops and murals to make this little Instagrammers heart content! I’m also particularly excited to visit because of all the hype around the city. Some say it’s considered the Brooklyn of Pennsylvania and ranked 3rd as the best city in the state! But enough of my ramblings, let’s talk about my packing list for a fall weekend getaway to Lancaster! 🙂
My Packing List for a Fall
Weekend Getaway to Lancaster
Before we dive into what exactly I’ll be packing, I want to talk a little about the citie’s style. It’s important to note that if you’re a blogger or love taking travel photos, to always consider this. If you do, your outfits will blend seamlessly with the atmosphere of wherever you travel! This is the little detail that can elevate the quality of your photos. Considering the style of where you’re visiting is a great way to give your photos careful attention.
About the city:
Lancaster is located in Amish country, which means it has a lot of country influence. Naturally, I find this city to perfectly suite my style! When Stefan and I planned out our trips for the remainder of this year, we considered the aesthetic of each city. This year we’re looking for cities with a western, boho feel. We’re so excited to visit Lancaster because the city is filled with western touches. Lancaster isn’t short of trendy coffee shops, farm-to-table restaurants and historic buildings given new purpose, such as the rustic Cork Factory Hotel, either. With all the information I have about the city, I plan to bring ankle booties, cowboy boots, my vintage bracelet and other pieces along these lines. I expect these clothes to blend in perfectly! With that said, I’m planning to pack three different outfits, as our weekend getaway will only be 3 days long.
